Success at Nationals
Held at Portreath, Cornwall - a great competition in challenging conditions.

Surf Lifesaving National Championships 2011
This year's National Surf Lifesaving Championships are taking place next week at Portreath, Cornwall.
Jack will be competing in both Nipper and Youth divisions.

Devon Surf Lifesaving Team
Jack and the Devon Surf Lifesaving team will be travelling to Aberavon in South Wales on Saturday 13th August for this year's Celtic Challenge Cup.
Held in Ireland for the last few years before returning home to Wales, the Celtic Challenge Cup is a prestigious and challenging event organised in association with Surf Life Saving Association of Wales and Aberavon Surf Life Saving Club. It brings together the best senior surf life saving competitors from across the Celtic waters including Wales, Devon, Ireland, Cornwall, France and other European Countries. Sunday, 7 August 2011

The usual mash up of North Devon surfing and team based carnage…
All Clubs must produce this criteria of surfers:
6 x A team surfers
6x B team surfers
4 x U18 surfers
4 x Ladies surfers
3 x Masters surfer (over 35)

So that’s a grand total of 23 surfers per team. There will be prizes and food and drink at The Electric afterwards, so head on down and cheer on your team.
Entry is £60 per club
Bring as many as you can and lets get it on- Everyone wants to beat Westward Ho! and nobody wants to lose to Saunton!
